First detail on the new old car

Just picked this up a couple of weeks ago but I didn't realize the extent of the oxidation until I really got into it. This was first real job with my porter cable, and I'm pretty pleased. About 10 hours worth of work, but worth it!

Thanks! I used Menzerna Intensive polish, Menzerna Final Polish, Klasse AIO, and so far 2 coats of SG. I'm thinking about another coat of SG and then topping it with a carnauba. I've never used carnauba on top of SG before because I've never had a color that I thought would benefit from it. I'm guessing that this will, so I need to decide which carnauba to try.

A carnauba over the SG would definitley improve the results in my opinion, especially on a red car. The car looks great even without a carnauba though. Nice Job!

Thanks. The pictures I have of the befores were taken the day I bought it, and quite honestly the pictures make the car look much better than it actually was. The car had to work real hard to look red....

What did you use on the trim?

I used some Autoglym Vinyl and Rubber. I've only used it on the tires on my other cars, so I'm not sure how well it will hold up on trim, but it looked nice after I applied it; I prefer a matte look to a glossy look.
