First detail of my Mazda6

Finally had a chance to detail my car and begin my journey to become an Autopian.

My process was:

wash/clay bar

1 coat of Z-5

3 coats of Z-2 with Z-6 in between each coat

1 coat S100

I welcome everyone's input, negative/positive doesn't matter. Just trying to learn throuhg trial and error.

Thanks!

Didn't realize the photos would be so small. Sorry guys. Please check out the larger ones in my gallery under the name ssarcevic.

:bow :bow What a gorgeous color!

I love the dark metallic greys that manufacturers are offering on the new models. Not as picky as black, capable of depth, wetness, and awesome reflections!

I wish my Black would fade to that color sometimes...ho hum..

Thats a Nice car and a great lookin detail.. Do you notice imperfections easily with that color?

I love that color too (anthracite)!!! Another great Mazda6 color that I enjoy is the Sepang Green Metallic...shown here

It's a really nice color in person.

Thanks for the kind words everyone. It's nice to have a community that understands my sickness for keeping my car looking it's best. My wife/neighbors think I'm nuts because I wash at least once a week usually twice, often at night. But the results are worth it.

I'm really happy with the results of the process I used. However, I did notice some very minor swirling. You really have to look hard to even notice them. Next time I'll try a more aggressive pad for my PC with some 3M swirl remover I have.

I haven't noticed any impertections in that color. Time will tell though.

I like the Sepang Green also. In fact, I like almost all of the colors on the 6. One of the few cars that looks good in many colors, IMHO.
