Fireworks...........

First point: I have a wood roof.

That being said, I love a good professional fireworks display, and I do plan to attend one tonight!

Second point: Bottle rockets + 12-year-old-boys = FEAR.

Nothing makes me more nervous than the neighborhood kids firing off hundreds of bottle rockets that, somehow, end up landing on my crispy dry roof!!!!!

You think those kids are thinkin' about my roof?

There's two things that you could do to help keep your home safe. One, try saturating your roof with water, in the even that some stray fireworks should land on it the water will help extinguish the firework(s). Two, keep the water hose nearby and spray the brats that get to close to your house with said fireworks. That will put a "damper" on their plans. :rofl:

Yeah, in past years I've sprayed the roof with the garden hose every couple hours. The neighbors look at me like I'm nuts, but I'm used to it being a detailer!:biggrin::cornut:
