Just finished last night and it took me roughly seven hours. I think I could have gone faster at first but just wanted to go slow and enjoy it.
But after the polish which took me forever I just wanted to hurry up and get it done.
After washing with NXT which took care of washing the tires (I used extra wash since I did tires first) and then mequiars wheel cleaner. Then I made fresh soap and used the bucket that I used for my tires as the rinse bucket to avoid getting stuff from the tires onto my car. After wash everything was looking INCREDIBLE...looked like a brand new car(minus the minor scratches and thing).
Then it came to dry. I had fibers everywhere and I figured out the problem. I bought some MF towels from pep boys and the others from wal-mart. I'm not sure which were which but one of the brands left fibers everywhere. Those things are useless for anything at all. I threw them away. So I ended up having FOUR MF towels to do my entire car=(. It all went downhill from here.
I started with the number 9 which took a long time roughly I think 2 hours for me to apply. Slowly doing it because I didn't want to miss spot and I was a little bit nervous about it since it was my first time. I was in my garage and it was pretty close to getting dark...and from what I saw the #9 did not do a whole lot i'm guessing because it was put on by hand.
Then I followed it up by #7 which went on very nice and looked very good I saw that it was shining a lot more.
Then the #26 which was looking awsome. So I finished it up at 11pm last night and went to bed. Took forever because my mom was using washer and dryer so I was having to hand wash the MF towels then hand them in front of a fan so they would dry faster. I had them all on roation...it was horrible and pathetic all at the same time. I got really frustrated and almost exploded but I think it will be better the next time i try to do it now that I know what I'm in for. I got up this morning to look at the car but it is overcast and it is raining. Bleh wish the sun was out so I could see the shine. I have before pictures but once the sun comes out ill post some after ones and post them all up for you guys to see. And the last thing I noticed was when I was wiping down the whole car at the end with MF towels after the wax it was fairly rough I need to clay it next time. So now I'm on a search to find someone locally with some clay! W00t all in all it was worth it and a good experience.
