Filthy hologramed 5th gen Maxima RENEWED

Well, let me start off by thanking they guys that helped me out with my question when I was pressed for time during this detail.

With that out of the way, let me tell you that this is one of the worst cars i have EVER done, and I was really happy with the end results. This car is owned by an older woman who puts 35-40k on a car a yoar and usually has it detailed by the stealership for $300 one yearly , with upkep coming from the top wash at the local swirl o matic. The dealership installed some nice holos, using im guessing a grinder. The car was keyed, and there were swirls a plenty. The interior stunk, was full of trash and every thing seemed to "stick". If I could desctibe this car usuing one word, It would be FILTHY.

My process-

Ext.:

Wash with Auto Bathe

Dry

Clay w/ poly clay

s&w

SSR2.5 via LC orange PC at speed 6 with lots of pressure

SSR1 via LC orange PC at 5.5

SSR1 via LC white PC at 5

s&w

Megs Machine Glaze #3 via LC grey

Nattys Blue x2

EO Allwheel on rims

EO Tire Dressing on tires

I did end up having until the next day to finish off the car, which was a HUGE releif.

Int.:

Vacuum FOREVER

Carpets pre treat with folex then oxy method

woolite 10:1 on EVERYTHING

PB's NL on plastic

PB's Leather Stuff on Leather

AIO on wood and plastic

Qtip all the small areas

Very nice job...why did you use SSR1 with the two different pads...did the white pad not get out the marring left by the orange with 2.5?

Outstanding work! I'll take a wild guess that she was more impressed by the interior than the paint care. It amazes me - and kinda' grosses me out - to know that there are people who will let the interior of their cars get that disgusting. I know what you mean about vacuuming - I recently detailed a friend's Mercedes and after 20 minutes I was questioning the suction power of my vac!

Great job on the car...

Looks so much better.

I just hope the owner stops going to all the wrong places and ruins that fantastic finish again.

Well, I signed her up for one of my wash packs so hopefully the car wont see terrible abuse again!

Great work, the interior looks amazing. I dont know how you worked with the SSR1, but for when I need to use two pads for the same product..instead of loading my new pad with the product...After using a compound I will switch to a polishing pad and my lesser abrasive, spread it and work it in really good, then switch to a finishing pad, spritzed with a qd and finish it up for a mar free finish. Maybe you're doing this already...just was curious how you did it :)

Fantastic work. And good camera work - you were really able to capture those halograms nicely.
