few questions

1. After the wash, is it better to use a QD before spray wax? What about before liquid wax applied with DA polisher?(wondering if the QD helps the process)

2. Fill in the blank... To get the best look John Doe would ONR wash, maybe a QD(depending on answer 1), then apply ______ with a DA polisher.

3. Fill in the blank... If a wash/wax(spray wax) is $35, then question 2 should cost ____?

Well, I don't know about question 1, but the other two are nearly unanswerable.

From spending FAR too much time here reading, and doing my own experimentation, I can easily conclude that the "best" product to use is hugely variable. Factors such as cost, air temperature, paint structure, paint hardness, desired outcome, etc. all come into play.

For question 2, is the paint in pristine condition, or has it been sitting outside for 10 years and never been washed or waxed? The product to apply with a DA polisher could range from M105 to Klasse AIO, or even just a glaze.

For question 3, the answer could be $50, or it could be $2k. Who knows.

If these are the questions you are going to be asking, you're going to need to do a lot more reading and gain some more experience on your own before thinking about picking up contract clients and regular business...

Picking up contracts and things are down the line. For right now I'm just trying to establish a system that provides the best look while considering price and time. Once I've gotten a system and have regulars then I'll worry about the big stuff. On another note...I'm trying to plan ahead so I may ask many questioins that might not make sense to ask, but that's because they pertain to a later date.
