Im painting my factory wiper cowl and winshield wiper arms Semi-Gloss. The wiper arms already have a coat of gloss on them from about a year ago which is faded and chipped, what would be the best way to prep these 2 things?
I would remove the arms and use a paint stripper to remove all the old paint. Then once you're down to bare metal, clean the parts with a strong degreaser to remover all the stripper residue, and paint.
