Ferrari Revisited (Lots of Pics)

I had a black 360 Modena that I was suppossed to detaill today buut that did not work out BUT a red 360 Modena showed up, so all was good:xyxthumbs



This is a regular client and the car is done bi-weekly so while it did not need a great deal of work I was in the mood to detail....detail something:bounce



After the wash I detailed the engine and we have alot of stuff going on here. The black panels to the side of the engine were done with Moose Wax, all metal was polished with Rolite and dressed with Best Dressed.

After the washing I went over the paint by hand and AIO and then wiped it down with a QD. I then applied NXT and while that was setting up I polished out the pipes, wheels, dressed the tires and windows.



After wiping the NXT off I then did the interior, which was pretty clean, just did the leather and spot cleaned the carpets.



I finished it off with a very light coat of Trade Secret, QD wipe and VIOLA.....we are done:D

The NXT alone looked great but the addition of the Trade Secret really brought out the red.....whadda think?

Regarding trade secret on top of NXT, how much extra depth, wetness and 'pop' did it produce.



I have been using NXT on titanium silver metallic and was wondering if you think I should try P21S or Pinnacle Signature wax as a topper? Let me know what you think.

First , thank you for the kind words and secondly, the NXT had the finish looking very wet to begin with and I was going to leave it at that but you know how it is....in the back of our minds the phrase "I wonder how this will look with_________?" plays like a broken record:D So I did just one fender and it seemed to add darkness to the finish, more so than added gloss or a wetter look, at least to my eyes.



If this was a Titanium paint job I would have went with the P21S as I feel it adds more "shimmer" or better yet it brings out more of the metallic in the paint. The differences are very subtle and only a enthusiast, such as yourself, would notice the slight changes.
