Ferrari Pics

This is a 1999 Ferrari 355I Spider that I detailed today. I got to drive this sporty ride. Either I'm getting better looking in my old age, or this car really turns some heads. Total time for a full detail was 4 hours, 35 minutes. what do you think? My wife says since I got my haircut I'm getting better looking, maybe GQ quarterly will give me a call soon?

Process was wash/ clay/ wash again. (it seems the owner drove it on the track at about 200+mph and the bug juice was inbedded in the finish. ) after I removed all the contaminents I proceded to have some fun. I used a paint cleaner first with a cyclo (4 star plat) then used #7, and finished with poorboys EX. Let me tell you a little about dirving this car, it has two levers on the steering column, used for up shifting and downshifting. No clutch. It either will shift through 6 speeds automatically, or you can do it manual. Shifts are precise, and the motor sounds like a air force bomber. Two codes are needed to engage ignition, one is the drivers DNA. (kidding on that one) one hell of a machine though.

I love it. Someone who owns a Ferrari and drives it accordingly instead of using it as museum piece.

Great work by the way.

Great job on the 355! Got to love freshly polished and waxed Ferrari red! Thanks for sharing your product list with us.

BTW, what has the owner done to the engine? I wasn't aware that 355's can hit 200+ stock.

It must be pretty special to work on something like that. I think I'd be too nervous to take it out for a spin...even with the owner's permission.

Actually, I used to be emoplyed by a Ferrari/Alfa/Saab dealer in Boston and quite a few of the Ferrari guys would do regular track session as well as some organized road rallies...They were a very cool bunch to hang out with once ina while, if I beahved I got to "borrow" a car and take part

Wow! That is truly a beautiful car. I have never been near a Ferrari.

Living most of my life in Northern Alberta, exotic cars are pretty rare around here, let me tell you. But as of the last couple years, an exotic car dealer from Calgary has been bringing an exotic display to the Edmonton Auto Show. Last year 6 cars, this year 12 cars.

I am now happy to say I've seen the following in person:

- 328 (numerous)

- Testarossa and 512TR

- F355

- 360 Modena

- Diablo

- Countach

- Murcielago

- F40 (I couldn't believe it when I saw this car!!)

- Lotus Esprit Turbo

- Masserati Spyder

etc.

It was a real treat for a car freak like me! :bounce
