Feedback on site that I created

I have been a member to the Autopia community for over a year. Since I am not a professional detailer but a hobbyist I tend to only comment from time to time. Since I do understand and appreciate the detailing profession I had an opportunity to create a website for a local area detailer. I basically traded services, 2 clean cars for a website. (I do not build websites for a living but take on side projects that interest me.)

Please feel free to provide constructive criticism. A few things to remember, I could only work with what content, pictures and information provided to me. Also please refrain from commenting on services and pricing.

Website:

Auto| Motorcycle| Truck Detailing: Sturbidge, MA Oxford, MA: All Wheels Detailing

Thank you in advance for taking the time to check out the site.

I think it is fine. I prefer to see more photos of the Shop - an opportunity to display professionalism. But, that's content, not layout. No unnecessary cluttr, etc.

Nice Job.

Overall, that is a much better than average detailer's site.

You don't use pictures well, though.

There isn't enough detail in the animated pics on the Services page for them to be useful.

There is a before/after pictures page which is kind of buried in a link on the Services page. That page presents large thumbnails with huge photos posted in a new browser. That creates a lot of worker for the user. Try 20 800 x 600 before and afters presented in one column on one page. This will ensure that the user will view all your pics and appreciate the detail in them as well.

Thanks for the feedback guys!!! I wanted to ensure the site hit the mark. And I think it did. The owners are super nice and the site has really helped in attracting business by tying in with offline campaigns.

You are right the pictures could use improvement, I basically took what was given to me and used most of them as is without having to do too much photoshop work. Picture taking and capturing the details is very important, unfortunately many people don't take pictures well. I know I find myself making the same non-pro mistakes..... centering everything etc...

There are a few things I would do differently, but time (and technical know-how) is always a factor.
