favorite tire dressing

Vinylex for all around dressing. I use this on most of the cars I detail. It performs well, and makes the tires have a medium glass. Lasts about a week and a half with no rain, 5 days with a shower or two. I apply with a eagle one tire swipe, or a terry applicator (SUV's). Then buff out with a terry cloth.

Meguiars Regular for the Turanza's on the BMW's I detail. It does not sling when buffed, and I buff it down twice. Lasts about 3-4 weeks on a garaged weekend warrior.

Meguiars Hi-Gloss or Armour All Extreme tire shine when I feel like it on certain cars (corollas, neons, hondas.)

Sorry for not offering a favorite, but I like different dressings for different cars.

I my self like the way 303 looks on tires and all inside trim because it's not high gloss just nice smooth look.My wife likes her tires with a little more gloss and the Zaino tire dressing does well for her. They both seem to hold up a good while even after a couple of washes.

Zaino and Eagle One Concours Satin. They both have the right shine for me, sharp but not fake. The durability is good and if applied thinly, do not fling excess.

I like Zaino Z16. It has a very low gloss, almost a matte finish. It is durable (I have had it last for 3 weeks before). I have used it with no browning, which you sometimes get with other dressings. It is somewhat of a pain to have to order the stuff, but it is well worth it. Z16 is good stuff :up

I like Meguiar's # 40. I've used it for years and after trying others I keep going back to it. Not too glossy and durability is quite good.

I can't stand browning. And that's what I get when I use tire dressing. Scrub your tires well everytime you wash and they'll look pretty good, even without any dressing.

OK, I'm putting my flame suit on now. Fire away!

I use Zaino Z16 mixed 50/50 with water. It leaves a satin jet black finish just like tires on the showroom floor. IMO the shiny ghetto look has no business being on a truck. In a pinch I'll use EO Concours also diluted 50/50.

Based purely on looks alone, I vote for EF Black Opal, I really like the satiny black shine that it gives. Now applying it, thats another story....

Vinylex is my favorite because it leaves a good shine.

Black Opal is my 2nd favorite because it lasts a long time and leaves a real high gloss.

I use the EO most of the time though, not shiny but make the tire look like when you bought it, very deep blk. 2001 when I need a "ghetto shine" once in awhile on the weekends. If you let it set in the hot sun and "bake" on, it's very shiny.

i like griot's vinyl/rubber dressing or zaino z-16 for a really nice satin finish that lasts. even after it's washed off a bit it still leaves the tire black with no graying or browning effect. for a little more gloss with the same results as the other 2 i like to use one grand's ERV dressing.:up
