This is a topic that should really be researched through a search on the detailing forum because there is no one answer or "right" answer.
There are a few true "show" car waxes and glazes. What makes these different from everyday waxes is there higher silicone content and high filler content. The silicone makes it shiny and the fillers mask imperfections. Both of these ingredients add to the LOW durability of the product making it unsuitable for long term use. But for "show day" they make many a sub-par finish look great.
Do a search under glazes, fillers, 3M Imperial Hand Glaze, etc and this will get you started.
