Favorite Finishing/Burnishing Polish?

Looking for something to really finish off my Black Mica Mazda3. I am thinking one of the Menzerna polishes, but would be willing to entertain other ideas. I want something VERY mild that can be used every couple of months if needed.

Thanks!

My guess is a thread full of PO85rd and Ultrafina responses...with a few randoms (1Z HG) thrown in.

I'm sure any of them would serve you well.:buffing:

Heh heh, yeah...the 1Z HG does come to (my) mind :D

But if the Mazda3's clear is as soft as my MPV's, I think I'd go for something milder than that (much as I love the 1Z HG for burnishing hard clears).

Depending on the LSP being used, the 1Z Metallic Polish with Wax oughta be great, But it's not really for use under sealants, but rather for use under waxes (there are undoubtedly exceptions but I dunno of any except the 1Z Glanz).

In the Menzerna line, I'd go with FPII.

Ultrafina is hands, hands, hands down my favorite. In terms of correction or gloss, it doesn't really offer anything that the competition can't.

However, in terms of working characteristics, it is *always* smooth as butter, regardless of temp, humidity, pad speed, etc. It never skips and hops like some of the competition.

If you are looking for a PC polish, Accumulator hit it on the head with 1z MP and Glanz Wax. Another option would be ZPC - experience has led me to be less than fond of Menzerna polishes via PC.
