Fabric cleaner and protection

I have a truck with a center console that has both fabric and a vinyl type material. The console gets very dirty very quickly in the summer time since I rest my sweat covered arm on it. It gets discolored and sticky and almost greasy feeling. I have used woolite and water at 10:1 and a megs APC. Both do a fine job of cleaning with a little scrubbing but I was wondering if there is something out there that cleans better and can even protect the fabric. I don't want it to become permanently discolored.

Welcome to Autopia!!

I would use Blackfire Interior Cleaner to clean the fabric, it works very well and doesn't leave any residue behind. Then I would use 303 Fabric Guard on the fabric to help repel against spots and stains. For vinyl surfaces and leather you can use Blackfire Interior Protectant.

It's more of a rubber than a vinyl. I have no idea why I even thought it was a vinyl.

If it's a rubber then you can use Wolfgang Cockpit Trim Sealant, that will protect rubber, leather, plastic, vinyl, wood, and metal interior pieces.

303 Fabric guard is amazing stuff. Don't balk at the price, it is well worth it. Couple photos below of a convertible I did last weekend. This was actually brushed on rather than sprayed on. separate post of the show n shine and a how-to coming up.
