Extremely Stubborn Water Spots on Glass

I've tried just about everything to get rid of them, including vinegar, paint thinner, #0000 steel wool, and Turtle Wax rubbing compound, Turtle Wax polishing compound, and Meguiar's metal polish with a PC on a Sonus SFX yellow spot pad, and they are STILL there. I think the metal polish may have removed one or two. Any suggestions?

Also while using the PC i got some metal polish on the rubber trim on the bottom of the window. I tried Mothers Back to Black but it won't come out. Any ideas on that?

Thanks in Advance,

Chris

I've never encountered any water spotting that I couldn't handle with the PC YET. I would try a heavy cutting pad and see how that goes, last couple of times I done windows I either used AIO or Optimum Compound. As far as the trim, you might try some APC, Castrol super clean maybe? And if that doesn't work you may have to consider a trim dye, such as forever black, or something of that nature. Others may chime in with some better answers tho.

Maybe try DP Glass Restorer or Duragloss #755 Nu-Glass with the PC?

For the rubber trim, something like the Wax Blaster will get the staining out for good while something like Chemical Guys Liquid Extreme Shine will cover it up until it wears off. Mothers B2B sucks.

oh an i definitely like forever blacks products, you better be sure handed with em , but ill put thier results up against anything.

where can I pick up these glass polishes?

Also what do you think of Autoglym Glass Polish? Is that worth a try?

I've removed terrible water spots with AIO and a 4" orange pad on a Wolfgang Polishin' Pal. It took some elbow grease for sure, but they came out eventually. I spent well over an hour on just the windows.

I had to use DP glass restorer by rotary (all I have) to get some out a while back

the PC should be able to remove them too

Diamondite have D3 compound glaze specifically designed for hard waterspot removal

Sonus glass polish is my favourite

Autoglym glass polish is awesome stuff! espeially with the PC. Just dont smoke near it or put a rag over your head and inhale the fumes :D It seriously is chemicaly smelly stuff, but it works like a charm for me.
