this car is one of my fav cars of all time so i was more than happy to detail it :thumb:

first off was again up at 4am for the 3hr drive and i couldn`t wait to get there , once i got there i just fell in love with it

lambomerci002.jpg

so first off was to pre soak with the AS citrus then my own foam and left for 5 mins

lambomerci004.jpg

then clean the wheels using the EZ brush as i think this one would be the only one that can behind the calipers :thumb: and a meg`s microfibre wash mitt

lambomerci003.jpg

these are so lush

so then off to rinse the citrus and foam off. once the raging bull was rinsed it was time to wash with 2 buckets and wash mitt, i find with using the citrus and foam before the 2 bucket`s give`s me a clean rinse bucket after washing the car :thumb:

paint was not to bad just a few marks and some light swirls

lambomerci008.jpg

lambomerci010.jpg

so before and corection work is started all pannels are checked for thickness in paint

lambomerci005.jpg

also my gauge is tested before hand:thumb:

so out with the makita with the meg`s polishing pad and some menz IP

lambomerci011.jpg

then a finishing pad with menz FF

lambomerci033.jpg

lambomerci032.jpg

next it was out with the zaino ;)

first off was to treat the bull with some Z6 then some Z2 pro mixed with some ZFX ;)left to cure the buffed off then it was time for the Z8 and i love this product

the bull was treated to 3 coats of zaino and i`m shocked on how little you need:thumb:

Phenominal work Mike! The car looks amazing!

I really like that color

I just wish that Lambo would update the interiors on the Murci's similar to the Gallardo's. I just think they look so dated... But, I guess I would still drive it!

Looks great!

A couple questions.

What did you wash or treat the car with before Zaino application after polishing?

How much correction do you feel you achieved. I am shocked at how quickly that car seemed to correct given that every new Lambo I have worked on has hard hard paint that required at least a compound and a heavy pad to make any progress.

meg`s last touch for after the polishing

the car was not bad for swirls as they were only light swirls, so didn`t take too long to correct . there was only 2 marks left on the car as these were to deep for just a basic correction and need touching up

Best looking Lamborghini ever made. If you disagree, your just wrong. Its a B-2 with four wheels. (And no nuclear weapons.)

Great job!

nice job. How many bulls does this guy have? His garage is loaded with them...

I was thinking the same thing but that is a mirror at the end! It still looks like 3 though!

That is one sick car! Just standing still it looks like 200MPH!!

Really nice work on this one! Best looking Lambo after shots! Nothing like Menzerna to really bring out the shine!

You got to send a few shots to Sal Zaino with this one no doubt!

Next, get a few shots of the engine! You guys REALLY want to drool...

Keep up the superb work!

Regards,

Deanski

Very nice work some such a sweet ride!!!

Sounds like you did a Z6 wipedown on the paint after polishing as well. That "should" remove a good bit of the polishing oils from the menzerna, but a 50/50 IPA/water wipedown might be better. :)
