Extra care with pollen?

Well first its snow, now its pollen. When I go to wash my car do I need to do anything different to prevent swirls? I just got them out and I want to keep it as swirl free as I can. Any special care I need to be aware of with pollen?

Just as with any normal washing, rinse thoroughly, and use as little pressure against the paint as possible when using your wash mitt or pad.

The live oak pollen here is always bad in March-April. As suggested, just rinse well and don't apply too much pressure washing. If it rains, try to wash it ASAP so it doesn't mark your finish.

How abrasive is pollen and is it going to hurt anything if i leave it on my paint till the end of pollen season? Will pollen bond to paint and cause harm if it gets wet? Just wondering...

Pollen will adhere to the paint and make it feel rough to the touch if left very long. You will swirl the surface when you try to rub off the pollen. Use light pressure.
