I'm looking for something I can treat my seals and the like with and it doesnt matter if i'm a bit messy and spill or get excess on my paint.

I'm using vinyilex at the moment, because I have some left over. But it is pretty strong as far as trim cleaners/protectants go, probably isnt good to get on paint.

Oh the infamous trim protectant....

Let me tell you sir, i havent found anything that i like for trim as of yet. Currently i am using Hi-Temp Bumper and Moulding restorer...and even that will kinda runoff onto the paint given any moisture. 303, OPP, Vinylex..i have tried them all and had running issues with rain. Good news is that i havent had any staining but i have always washed pretty much right away. I have heard it can stain paint if let baked on. I havent experienced that though

I'm a 303 Aerospace user here, and I apply it with an MF applicator, then wipe with a dry MF. If any gets on the paint I just use that dry MF to get that part too.

I've had good luck with Meguiar's M40. It won't work on a few plastics here and there, but I like it on most rubbers, vinyls, and a good amount of plastic surfaces. It's not super glossy, but gives it a nice, new look.

I've used 303 aerospace before, and it gives a very similar look and applies similarly as well, but is a LOT more expensive. Maybe it is the heavy UV protection they advertise?

Zaino Clear Seal really does work well on PLASTIC trim... But I've never tried it on rubber. It's really designed for paint... and when I accidently got some on the plastic trim, it worked great... and rain didn't seem to wash it off.
