This truck was sold to the owner's father and he needed to get it cleaned before pick up. He just wanted the interior vaccumed so no shots. Bet you can tell why he didn't want to touch the outside!

Here's the process

Washed with Meguiar's NXT and 1 cup of Simple Green

(Used EDGE Yellow ShMitt)

Optimum's Poli-Seal

(Used EDGE2K Green Med. Cut Pad at #5 PC setting)

Went with the PC on this one. I'm gonna wait till my 8" pads get here before anymore rotary use. I feel that I might have to retrain myself again. This was just the plain Poli Seal. Still cut and cleaned very well. Gave a nice reflective, wet finish to white.

DP's Final Gloss Booster

(Srayed onto surface. Wiped away with Micro-Fiber towel.)

I wanted to add a little depth to the white and try out another new product. Very simple to use with no streaking. Smelled rather nice too. It did at a little more depth and shine. This will be a nice booster to Max Wax and other last step finishes.

Other Products Used.....

Simple Green Degreaser

(Mixed 1:1. Used on wheels, tires, wells, and front clip.)

I like this stuff alot. Cleans well and with not a harsh smell. Smells good actually!

Armor All Tire Foam

(Used on tires as a pretreatment. Used on wells to finish them.)

DP's High Gloss Tire Gel

(Applied with an Eagle One Tire applicator)

I wanted to try my new gel out while using Armor All foam as a cleaner/base. It did allow the gel to go on more evenly and with less product. We will see about the durability.

Why did you mix in 1 cup of simple green? You usually never do that in your wash routine.

There was a lot of moldy grime on it from sitting under trees. Simple Green really breaks this and bugs down. I really only do it on white also. Just gives my wash a kick in the butt. I can really tell the difference and saw no problems after using it. I ONLY use when the initial detail is in horrible condition.

nice job, as usual . . . so your diggin the simple green hu . . . nice. its a personal favorite of mine. . . . so many uses, such a low cost . . . . i cant afford not to use it!

BTW - living here in the bay area I never see a vehicle on a road that isnt paved. . . . props to you for being able to work on such dirty roads and driveways . . . that woudl drive me up the wall . . . .

poly seal on a green pad? looks like it finished nicely in the pics, but its white - seeing it yourself, how did the poly seal finish down and wipe off with a light cut pad . . . (green is edges lightest polishing pad right?) and secondly . .

can you let poly seal set up for long periods before wiping it off. . .? im talking like apply it and then do a vacume/extraction and then wipe it off no problem? just curious and again . . . great work justin . . .

Thanks bro. I love Simple Green. Smells better than any other degreaser I've used to date.

I use this pad to give Poli-Seal some extra bite. It has never marred with this pad. I virtually vanishes as is finished off. I usually let it sit while I do the interior also. Comes off so easy.
