I am looking for suggestions on how to go about maintaining the Sport Pack wheels on my Exige, these wheels are black in color. I believe they are painted.
I have tried quite a few different types of cleaners and waxes to no avail. Cleaners such as Meguair's Hot Wheels, Eagle One wheel cleaner, DuPont Teflon wheel cleaner, all seem to leave a residue or coating. I have tried waxing the wheels with Eagle One Nanowax and Meguair's NXT tech wax. I've tried wiping them down with NXT spray detailer.
I can't seem to find the right combination of products to clean the wheels and then seal them so they retain their clean look. Part of the issue is brake dusting. But I'm trying to find the right set of products to use so the wheels don't look faded and/or don't regain a faded look after only a couple of days.
