Cleaning my car today, I wanted to polish the exhaust tips. I couldn't remove the black "carbon"?? stains on the tips. How can I remove the black stuff?
If you get a microfiber towel and a little polish it will remove the carbon build up. Just don't use one of your nice microfibers. If worse comes to worse get some #0000 steel wool and polish and agitate the tips and use the polish as a lubricant.
