Exceldetail and PC 7336 question

Im about to order my pads and backing plate from exceldetail.



Will the hook and loop backing plate on their site work on my 7336? It says it for the 7424.

Except fot the counter weight (5oz for the 7424 and 6oz for the 7336) the two units are identical. You will have no problems.
 
I use the 6" counterweight with no problems whatsoever. So do MANY other people on the board. Of course it's cheap to get the 5" to be able to switch, but it's not necessary. All the exceldetail stuff will work just fine with your 7336, just as it does with mine!
 
I have the 7336 with the 6oz counterweight and a 5" backing plate and have had no problems what so ever. And as Tasty said so do a lot of other members of this board. If you want the 5oz then you should get it, if not, you will have no problems with the 6oz.
 
There are other pads out there that are just as good as Propel. For example Lake Country, Sonus, and Meguiar's all make pads that many people on here use. Not sure of diameters there, but give em a look. If you have any questions about anything on exceldetail shoot Patrick an email and he will respond very quickly. Very good customer service.
