Finally got some time to do the proper cutting and buffing on my personal car this past few weeks. The car was painted last fall I did an initial wet sand by hand with 1200 followed by a woolpad so now that the paint had time to cure fully it was time go over it again to get it flat!
up bright and early on a foggy morning
spent about $50 on painters tape to make clean up as hassle free as possible.
the 3m 1/4 in tape works great for taping over bodylines
some before shots, again not too bad but could be better.
some spots that I didn't do yet the first time around like the lower nose
sanding with 1500, followed by 3000 via DA
after cutting by wool pad with 3m perfect it.
After many more hours of using the 3m blue foam pad with their blue swirl removal
and a couple nice ones of the metallic
