Ever had a car stolen?

Yeah, its a nice story..but..who really owns the car now?

Didn't this guy have auto insurance?

Didn't the company give him a check for his stolen car?

This car should now be owned by what ever company insured it when it was stolen.



My friend went thru this same thing only his car was missing for just a year. Insurance company got the car.
 
Spoiled: I was fearing it was your car that was stolen :(.





Great story, but almost none end up like that. Our cars are usually chopped up in hours and doused with oil. The frame usually resides under a bridge somewhere.

He had no insurance on the car because he "couldn't afford it" when he bought the car so it's his now.:woot:

I'd be a basket case just thinking about what I'd be going through HOPING THAT IT WASN'T FOUND! I wouldn't want it back that for sure but I don't think I'd have to worry about that as it would be in a bunch of pieces anyway. I'm still trying to get to 27k miles on that car.:D
