I received this call to "make it look better" and "not make it so that I dont want to drive it" - sorry Mike, thats what I strive to do on every detail!

I arrived at about 815am, and left his place at 10pm. I planned on a solid two step process, but after seeing what condition the car was in, I couldn't let that be. I HAD to 3 step this car! And by steps, I only count the polishing steps involved, not the claying or the waxing or the glazing! Those are mandatory in every detail just like washing.

I did a test spot with a two step, and while the finish was definitely cleared up, it wasnt the glossiest I could get...which is what I was after! In the end, I would have to say this is one of the glossiest cars I have done! The before to after in person is night and day! If I had the go ahead to do this on every single car I did, I would be one very happy guy as I love the huge turn around projects like this one!

Process involved on this one went like this:

wash, rinse, speed dry (about 75% dry), clay, dry, IPA wipedown

PC work the whole way through

105/orange worked slowly and in smaller sections than normal

205 on megs yellow polishing pad

85rd on black pad worked extremely long time per section

danase wet glaze on blue pad

BFWD on blue pad
