I get the call to come see if I can get some scratches out and if I can, then we would go over the whole car with a two step process! So, I cruise over an hour away to see whats up with the scratches and how deep, etc. I take some 105 on a 4" orange pad by hand and its about 75 % removed with 3 passes, so I knew it would be easily removed with a rotary and PFW/105.
After I knocked out that scratch, I went around the rest of the car and tackled some other easily removed scratches I saw. There were just a couple where you could tell it was deep, so I just blended as much as possible.
After that, I ended up with a PC/orange/105 around the whole car, then white pad and 85rd as 205 was leaving too much micromarring behind of its own on a megs yellow pad. The white pad removed the orange pad haze while the polish restored the gloss!
Before I removed the BFWD, I applied megs hyper dressing to the tires and all the trim. this really set off the car! I then applied chemical guys bare bones to the wheel wells and proceeded to wipe off the BFWD from the paint!
