A friend had some engine detailing stuff in his garage (we did the exterior on his cars today)....I wish I had written down the names....
The first I think was called "CD2" or something like that. Looked like an aerosol can.
The second also looked like an aerosol can and had the names "Bright" or "Brite" and "Gunk" on it. They both looked like stuff you could get at an Autozone (that's where his other stuff came from) and sort of 1-stop cleaning stuff.
Anyone recognize those names? Are they any good for an inexperienced novice? He's telling me as long as you avoid the alternator, you have nothing to worry about using these things, but I don't know...I looked at the can for a few seconds...something about coating the engine with a resin, it burns off the excess when the engine heats up....the rest coats the aluminum....I dunno, I think maybe I should stick to exteriors and interior detailing only.
Thanks for the comments.
