There is a shop asking me to workf or them, and asking what my hourly rate would be. It's a popular shop that has been expanding like crazy.

What is a decent price to ask to work for. I have been detailing for a good 4 years (hobby) and have a good aount of knowledge about the rotary and other buffing tools/compounds.

It may be smart to tell them that you are willing to start at a similar hourly rate that they've been paying there other detailers. Then, if they like your good work they can re-evaluate your hourly rate after the first 60 to 90 days.
