*Emergency Bulletin* Autozone Clearance

I went to Autozone a moment ago, and couldn't find #26 on the shelf. The gentlemen at the counter instructed me that the #26 was on the clearance rack, along with a ton of other clearance stuff. All the stuff was marked about 50% off or so, and I got excited and grabbed 2 tubs of #26 (a bargain at the posted price of $4.99). The clerk at the register rang up my 2 tubs of wax, and said "That'll be $2.14." What?! Surely a mismark, or it is ringing up wrong. Nope. He said all the clearance stuff had to go, and it is all .99 cents. Not just that store either, he said ALL the Autozones. He was even nice enough to get on the computer and tell me which Autozone's had the most #26. I went to the 2 stores here locally, and I thought I would post the heads up before I went out and methodically hit every single Autozone in Oklahoma City. They had stoners trim shine, rain-x products, mitts, the new prestone sealant, #26, and many others......ALL .99 CENTS!! If you go today, it will not be marked that way, but will ring up correctly at the register.

#26 is great, and adds great depth and pop to my silver 4runner. It is usually over $10 a tub. The Prestone sealant is fairly new I had thought, and even with so-so reviews; I'll give it a shot at .99 cents!
 
Thanks for putting this in the correct thread category. I didn't know this existed :o . Anyway....I am guessing all the Autozone computers are the same, but I'm not sure. Worth checking out. I may buy enough for everybody :D
 
I hope down here in South Fl there having the same deal. I'll be heading there first thing in the morning.
 
Autozone appears to be in trouble. I went to my local store on Sat and found it very, very empty. I have since learned they closed a number of locations in my area.
 
Yep they have the deal down here in South Fl. Unfortunatly they one had 1 tub left :( but for $1.09 out the door for meg's #26 high tech still an awesome deal.
 
Deal is alive in the Cleveland, OH area. Went to 3 stores... got 1 tub of #26 at one store, 2 at another, and the other store was cleared out of everything. Stoners products are also $.99 including their tire shine and trim shine. Picked up one bottle of the prestone wax, not sure why, guess it will be good for door jambs or something.
 
That's a pretty wide area, i'm guessing it's going to be national. Give it a shot, you will probalby be lucky.... but hurry since people are clearing out Autozones by the minute, lol
 
I cleared out 10 bottles of stoners trim shine, 4 bottles of the new windex and 2 jugs of armor all car wash soap, which I use on wheels and wheel wells only. All for less than $16 =)

Is the windex the blue can of foaming cleaner... similar to Stoners IG? If so I'm about to go pick some up from my AutoZone... Thanks
