Emblem cleaning help!

I have a gold package Acura TL and the emblem and individual letters are starting to develop weird little green spots on them.

Any ideas on how to clean the letters / emblem?

Maybe something like Optimum Metal Polish, but you'll want to be careful not to remove the gold plating. You may be better off replacing them IMO.

I'd try something non-abrasive like Nevr Dull wadding before I'd try a polish that may damage the plating. Looks like there me already be some pitting.

Please never try hard paste wax or wax which contains abrasive. Also avoid use of steel wool.

id go with kaio or werkstatt prime strong.



metal polish will thin out the already ultra thin gold plating.
