It's my understanding that the CP has carnuba in it. Has anyone used this sucessfully over FMJ or any other sealant for that matter? I'm curious whether I could still layer FMJ over it down the road, or whether I should stick to something like QS or Z6.

CP is recommended for FMJ. But maybe it's a marketing ploy to get you to purchase CP along with your FMJ!



I think you should be fine with it.



Maybe others will post the QD of their choice with FMJ.

I use FI, but i'm curious as to how 1z LackFinish would work? Seems like a logical choice since they both are polymer.

I actually didn't even notice that. I'm figuring the carnuba content has to be pretty low that it wouldn't affect future layers of FMJ. At least that's what I hope.

I've used both CP and Sonus both seem to work well. I may be wrong but I don't this CP has a carnuaba in it.

I like the Lackfinish as a QD so long as you cut it 1:1 with distilled water.

Just got off the phone with CMA and they confirmed there is NO carnuba in CP. I assumed there was based on other prior posts where they mentioned there was a small amount. So that kind of solves my dilemma. Thanks everyone.
