Egged..should I use touch up paint/chip repair?

So my car got egged. I didn't get any damage from the yolk or anything, just from the egg shell itself cracking against the paint on the door and going through the paint. I don't want to repaint it. I'm sure polishing won't to much either. I've always wondered if any of the paint chip repair systems are any good like Dr. Colorchip. Anyone have any experience with repairing chips left by eggs with a pen or any other chip repair system?

Eggs seem to do extreme damage...I never fully understood why. I had what I thought was a minor incident but it turned out far worse than I would have ever imagined.



You might want to post a couple of pictures to folks can gage the severity of the condition.
