Egg, Detergent, and Ketchup

A customer came to me with after Eggs, Detergent, and Ketchup were dumped and thrown on their cars windows from kids vandalizing. The stain looks similar to when you get over spray from a heavy duty degreaser on the windows except that cleaning it four or five times doesn't remove it. The stain is translucent but a few tones darker than the unaffected areas of the glass. It seems as though it is below the surface of the glass.

Does anybody know of a product that will treat this kind of stain?

Thanks!

Try using the heaviest cutting compound on the most aggressive pad on the glass.

Is this advice based on experience? If so, what evidence can you provide so that we may benefit form your wisdom?

Yes you won't hurt the glass since it is very hard unlike paint so if it's baked on dried or otherwise stubborn you'll get it on one go. Some people even use steel wool but I was always weary of that.

I'd assume that the eggs were also splattered on the paint too. Good luck on that one. Egg on paint with just a few short hours in the sun can eat right through the clear coat. I've seen it several times.
