Egg all over the truck...Why?

Well today was the last day of a wonderful vacation with family. Got up just before the sun to go and wipe down the truck before I took my brother to DFW airport to send him off to Alaska.

Went to my truck and the drivers door was covered with egg. Got most of it off before I had to leave but the trip to Dallas was marred by the thought that someone had taken the time to cover the left side of my truck with egg.

Since I hardly know anyone in Texas it just sticks in my mind that a stranger would take the time to egg the vehicle. Before leaving for the airport I drove around the neighborhood.... None of the other vehicle in the area were egged.

The only good thing that I can come up with is... The clean up was fairly simple. The poorboy's products that I had put on, just 10 days ago, were still fresh. I have some stains to work on tomorrow. The rubber at the bottom of the window and the door trim.

No pictures. It was dark and had no time. I am just depressed. It is hard to understand senseless vandalism.

No damage was done to the vehicle. I guess that I should count myself lucky. It could have been worse.
 
Sorry to hear that someone singled out your truck.
But I glad to hear that, you should be able to get it cleaned up and you didn't see any damage.

Some people should just get a hobby, maybe they will be less destructive

I am so sorry to hear that you have fallen victim to this sort of senseless act! It seems that some people have nothing better to do & are just attracted to our vehicles well maintained finish. I don't think I've ever seen or heard of a beater being egged - or maybe I wouldn't notice it?
I'm glad the Poorboys did its job & protected your truck & no permanent damage was done. I am sorry that it happened, though.

i'm also sorry to hear this, same thing happened to my car on halloween the neighborhood kids were out playing and it was cold and close to midnight i was using the garden hose freezing my butt off to remove it. i feel your pain
 
Eggs. Not even creative.
Better to take Maxipads on a below freezing day. Wet them, then stick them to the windows.

When some people spot a perfectly detailed car, they can't resist the temptation to invoke damage. It's the "computer virus author" mentallity.

I had just detailed my black Grand Prix, and it was parked in the farthest possible parking spot at a store where I had to run in to get milk. Not a car around for at least 30 yards.

When I came out, someone had spit TOBACCO on the windows, hood and trunk.

That's the kind of person who spots a nice car and says.... "I'll show him!!!!", then defiles it.

I guess my wife was listening to me when i was complaining about the egg incident. This morning she woke up and told me she had a solution to the vandalism. TRUNK MONKEY!

It put a smile on my face. Thought she was not listening to me. I was wrong. She said it in such a way that made me feel like it was a big deal but it was funny all at the same time.

I am sorry about the tobacco incident. Try thinking about the trunk monkey and see if it brings a smile to your face as it did for me.
 
orry to hear that, one time i had someone squirt ketchup all over my truck.....I just dont get it either. But im glad there was no real damage.
 
Ahhhh...good ole Trunk Monkey on top of Patriot Pontiac....LOL.....I get to see it everyday, since I work right across the highway from it...LOL

TexasTB, hola neighbor!! See a alot of Texans but you are the closest one yet. I live just down the road in Skipcha Mountain.
