Edge pad adapter for PC

I was wondering if anyone was having a problem removing the adapter from the PC without damaging it. I've got mine on pretty tight and now I can't get a good enough grip to loosen it so I can put on my backing plate for when I want to use my other pads. I like the Edge pads but I also have the regular pads that I would like to use from time to time since I have 3 brand new ones. Has anyone else have this problem? And what do you do?

I haven't had a problem, you can put a socket over the end or some locking pliers around the steel circle of material on the smaller of the two adapter

thanks that worked perfectly. A small crescent wrench is all i needed. I can't believe i didn't think of that myself. Sometimes the easiest solutions are the hardest to see!
