EAS: Range Rover Sport W/Write up

I clean my wheel wells with EF Hi Intesity every time I wash the car. I coat the wells with Vinylex (or similar) every time I have the wheels off or at least 4-6 times a year.

I also use EF High Intensity to clean the wheel wells everytime I wash my car. But I use the cheap stuff Armor All to coat them.

I recently purchased some spray on foam tire/rubber dressing. I do not dare to use it on tires and intended it to be used on wheel wells. I am just to scared to try.

I may over come this and do it tonight. I hope

Jason (hey another use for BLack Opal)

I clean the wheel wells at each wash and dress the plastic each time I do my wheels & tires (usually every two weeks or so). I used to dress with Eagle One, but have now settled on 3M tire and vinyl dressing, which I also use on my tires. I save my precious flown-in-from-the-US 303 for the interior and exterior vinyl...

We Got this Range Rover in today it we be a lease turn in and they wanted to clean it up a bit first. After talking them in to a MID-LEVELl detail to bring this vehicle back to a presentable condition (make it look like a 90k dollar SUV) we started Here:

We did not dress any exterior plastic due to delivering it in the rain.

Total Time Approx. 6 hrs

Thanks for looking.

Great recovery Paul on the Range Rover, was it the dealer who wanted it done or the folks about to turn it in from the lease? Hope you charge accordingly for that mess. Great work !

What is this, who can post the dirtest car day or what :cursing:

Man that thing looked like my brother-n-laws duck huntin truck. Nice revival on that one :notworthy:

6 Hours total time....Is that 1 man? Man I'm slow :banghead:

Hey Paul... Nice Work! That interior was a mud pit!!! Paint wasn't too great either.:banghead: Leased cars are usually like that!

Excellent job and nice turnaround!:cornut:

Thanks, That was for the people turning it in. Probably charge less than I should, although they wanted to keep the price down so we diddnt get real crazy with it.

2 man most of the time, we had some other suff in the shop too so we were boouncing around a little.

Damn, why spend all that money for a vehicle and trash it??? I'd be ashamed to let anyone ride in the thing.

Your work is great, the Rover turned out amazing.

Well done! I love the turnaround.

I bet the dealership appreciated it. Although, if it sits on the lot before finding a new owner, it may get the DISO before it leaves :(

Great turnaround.
I am constantly amazed that someone spends that much money and then treats the car like that. I don't care if you lease it, or purchase it, take some pride in your rideDirector.
That said, I guess it is these kind of people who keep all of you great detailers in business.

Great job:thumbup:

Nice job! Care to share what product you used to dye the mats? Are they rubber, fabric, what?

Rustoleum Has a new dye line they are rubber mats, The dye covers very well and seem to hold up very well too. Good flexibility and doesnt rub off. The only downside seems to be a very limited color selection.

You have to wonder why such messy people chose a white leather interior. I wonder what their house looks like.....then again I'm sure they have "domestic help" for that!

Whatever it cost them to have you clean it up was a bargain!! I'm sure the dealership would have crushed them with at least 10 times what they paid you if they had dropped it off like that.
