Duragloss Rain Repel

PA DETAILER

DETAILED TODAY?
just wanted to drop a note. this stuff is amazing. repell's snow, rain, etc. can also be used as a detailer on paint. (have not used it that way yet) item#751

RainX has burned me a couple of times. Not only does it streak something terrible, but it's a PITA to remove. And, yes, I followed directions. I despise RainX. :(

:lol2: Same here! :wall I used both the interior and exterior formulas. It was supposed to decrease fog build up but instead it increased it and made it harder for my defroster to get rid of the fog. Never again....

The worst thing about RainX is the damage it does to the wiper blades. Something in the product doesn't mix well with the rubber blades... they seem to cause the blades to deteriorate. Maybe its just me...

Weird,,ive never had an issue with rain x. Ive only been using it a year but in that year ive only needed 3 applications. No chatter whatsoever and have had the same wiper blades since the beginning of the summer. I kinda like the stuff. I did learn its hard to remove with microfiber,,i use a shop type paper towel.

Thanks for the tip. I have tried those #@!*# RainX wipes three times and it does just what MagicCity says. Loads of residue, almost a haze when it dried. In the circular file they went.

Used Duragloss Rain Repel this weekend and it worked great.Did an excellent job of cleaning the glass and repelling the rain.
I just sprayed it on the glass and removed with a glass cleaning microfiber.:passout:

I have not tried DG rain repel but I'm not surprised to hear that it works well because all of the DG products that I have tried were very good. :bigups

I have used the AQUAPEL product and it is a great add on product for any shop.It is a one shot application and lasts a min of 2 months..It is cheaper now to buy and you can get 15-25 dollars per application.I would push this one in a shop you never need to touch a wiper switch again. From 30-100 mph its clear windshields.

Auto geek carries the stuff I use it here and love it.

I have also tried the STONERS product with water repel but only on side and back glass, anyone tried it on a windshield?
