i got a sample from a past car show. after a 40 mile commute each day, and a splatering of bugs this week, i tried it out this morning.
1. spray area to be cleaned
2. allow to penetrate 1-2 min.
3.wash vehicle
4. rinse with water
5. done!

made short work of the bug collection on the grille. great product. on a side note, all of our sponsors carry this product. give it a try.

I have not used that product but I use their 105-951-901-601-921-481-821-481 and all of those are excellent products.
I thinking that they don't have a product that don't do a good job for it's intended purpose.

i believe you are right. i have never had a bad duragloss product.
 
i was impressed enough to pick up two bottles. seems like the only one that will not strip your wax after applying!!:bigups

Never tried that one,but you are right about taking off wax with some similar products.

I had one that worked well but stripped of my wax so that went down the drain fast.

I now use PB'S bug squash and it is also my first choice on removing bug splats and goo from warm weather driving...:bigups

Product Information:

Remember to protect the areas you use Bug Squash on with a sealant or wax.

You may wish to verify that with PBW.

The Duragloss states that it won't remove *durable* polish. That means any Carnauba waxes will need a layer after the wash.

If mixed 3:1 he states that it doesn't remove LSP. I have used it in stronger dilutions and have not noticed a loss of slickness on the leading edges - not that is the most determinate factor of proof for an LSP.

As JP said he and I have used the product stronger than the recommended 3-1 diluted rate.This said I wet the painted LSP treated areas before using the Bug CLEANING PRODUCT. Using this method I feel the product will in no way have a chance to strip any wax off the vehicle.

This practice is not a recommended preventive measure just what I do personally.

If the removel of wax is your a reason for aprehenson in the products use, try some on the painted front area of your vehicle.This being said try it before wetting or washing.Spray a test area and see if the product has striped anything off the newly waxed paint. :inspector: :bigups
 
I went the extra mile and called the R&D at Duragloss.

They couldn't answer my question, yet. They will get back to me.

I'll let you know.

The surfactants and enzymes soften and dissolve the bug matter. Which made me curious about another household product.

A test will be done. :)

good to know. i just finished my trial bottle yesterday. it does a number on the bugs.:wow:
