This was at a local car show today. As the title says all that I did to my car was wash it with the NEW Duragloss Aquawax Waterless Wash N Wax #971. It turned out really nice considering the paint is 135k old and clear coat is starting to fail on the hood etc. It hasnt been washed for about a week or so but is only driven a couple times in that period. Previous wash was probably D114 with some Opti-Seal during drying.

Looks good. I`m a big fan of Aquawax, although I haven`t tried the Duragloss waterless wash with Aquawax in it. In all honesty, all the DG stuff I`ve tried I`ve always been impressed with. I was, until recently, able to get just about anything in the line just by driving down to Carquest. But Auto Zone took it over I guess, and consolidated two stores and seems to have really limited the amount of DG products they have on hand. Went from having an AZ that was poorly stocked and had a somewhat un-knowledgable staff and a super-duper Carquest that was stocked with good stuff and had guys that really knew what they were talking about to one big consolidated AZ that`s just a bigger version of the crappier store.

I wasn`t so impressed while using it as I was when I sat back after it was done (it wasn`t sooooooo much better than anything else I have ever used I mean). You can see the shine it made. I have quite a few other WW`s so I don`t think this was so good it will replace those but I would say if you are someone looking for a WW to use this should seriously be considered. I may try to get a before and after for you all with a dark red truck I have access to.

I bought some and was not even impressed with the cleaning ability. The car was not filthy but multiple applications were required. Poorboy`s Spray & Wipe did the job in one shot. This is the only Duragloss product that has disappointed me.

At the show there was a race car that I lent my D114 to so they could clean the rubber spots off the front and they were just loving it! lol. I had the DG971 there too but didnt try it. I was almost sure the 114 would do it, though we did have to use a bug sponge to help.

Don, my father was a GM dealer for 25 years. I worked there for 7 years after graduating from university. One of my jobs was to order inventory. I used to order Formulas EXACTLY like you have there: with the stripes along the side deleted and just the word "Formula" along the side. I loved the hood on the Formulas too. I also always equipped them with a performance package that consisted of the 305 V-8 with a dual exhaust back to the cats along with a 3.73 rear end and with a stick. They were fast as Hell!! They were actually faster than the Vettes of the day due to the rear end ratio. You could rev it to about 2-2500 rpm and pop the clutch and the rear tires would just smoke! I also ran one all the way up and found it had a rev limiter in 5th gear at 210 km/hr, LOL...long before my law enforcement days. GOD I MISS THOSE CARS!! Thanks for the memories man!
