Duragloss 105 & 601, amounts used?

Hi everyone:

I'm new here. Have read quite a few of the threads here and didn't see this covered, hope I didn't miss it.

Anyway, I'm thinking of getting some #105 Duragloss TPP (Total Performance Polish) and #601 Duragloss PBA (Polish Bonding Agent) to use on my '07 Toyota Corolla and was wondering if anyone could give me an idea of how much of each product is used per application? Thanks.

Duragloss should be applied thin just like any LSP
Two thin coats are much better than one thick one.
Only a very thin layer will stay the rest will be wiped off wasting product and making it harder to remove.
Apply one thin coat wait 24 hours then apply a second coat or if you want stop at one, main reason for two is just in case you missed a spot.

I guess I didn't explain myself well enough, what I'm looking for is how much, in say ounces, would be used for each application of each product on a car the size of Corolla? I'm planning on doing 2 coats of the 105 for just the reason you gave, but I'm trying to get an idea of how long each bottle of product will last. Thanks.

I use less than a ounce doing my truck...so you should use less....once your applicator is primed..meaning wet from the 105 or 601 it spreads nice...I use a dab the size of a peanut for each panel..except the hood and bed..they get 2 dabs....I use a baby medicine syringe to apply to my pad...I hate carrying a bottle around...I fill to one ounce and when done I am putting some back in the big bottle...so you should use 1/2 oz tops...

Wow, only a 1/2 oz., I had no idea it would use so little. I was thinking that one bottle of each wouldn't go very far. Now I'm thinking that I'll never use all of it before it goes bad in 2 years. I hate wasting things.

What a great idea for applying it, I'll have to get myself one of those baby medicine syringes.

Thanks Al.
