Dualies

Walking through a parking lot I happened to pass a big F350 with dualies in the back. Got me thinking... When detailing a truck like that, do you bother trying to clean and dress the inner tire as well or just leave it or just do a quickie job on it? Do you charge extra to detail it?

just looking for opinions. I personally would do my best to get clean whatever I can reach. Not sure I would bother dressing it though, but then again maybe I would depending on how much it sticks out to me

I would take the outer wheels off on my fathers dually, on others I would clean what I could, and then I just got in there with pearl at 4/1 via hvlp gun. It gives a completed look without breaking the bank or you taking time to do something you're not being compensated for.

You only really see a couple of inches of the sidewall of the inside tire on a dully. So I suppose you could treat that area...but I'd never pull a tire for a detail. This reminds me of a thread about removing the box to wax/seal the back of a truck cab - say what? Would you wax/seal the underside of a hood or the inside of a trunk? <rhetorical>

Rhetorical in the sense that "well, of course you would!", right? :D

OK, OK...I'm not a Pro, I only do my vehicles and my pal's old Jag so I guess that my situation is simply different from what we're talking about here. But I can't imagine having a vehicle where those areas weren't done the same as the "parts that show all the time".
