dried paint , surboard wax

Thanks TL!

I thought about the iron trick and read about it many times but have never used it. The place where the wax ix melted is in a cuby hole like area that I dont think the iron will fit . But I may bring my iron with me anyway and try it if the other stuff fails . Just because a product says it will remove something doesnt mean it always will!

thanks PJ

Maybe someone else will benefit from you knowledge and post! Happy it worked so well for you! :)

Might want to take a curling iron with you. I think steam would be beneficial but heat alone might do the trick. Do any curling irons have steam capability?

I dont know if curling irons have steam . I havent used one in years but the one I have does not have steam. Brilliant idea though!

I got the "sticky bumps"product today at my local surf shop and will try it tommorow ! Stay tuned !

Back for an update .

I used the wax remover , did it work? Sort of . Did it work well, no!

The carpet looks 90 percent better and maybe thats all I can hope for . I scrubbed for a 1/2 and hour on just a little area so it requirs alot of patience.

I did not try the iron because the stuff is highly flammable . Yeah ,thats all I need right now is to catch someones carpet car on fire :D

The good thing about the product as far as solvents go is it didnt have a bad odor, it just smelled like orange.
