DP Final Finishing Polish opinions?

Anyone have opinions on this polish?

Might use it to strip my FMJ tomorrow before I apply Zaino. Just don't want it to dull my PO85RD finish.

FFP is killer. Super clear, wet reflections. Looooooong working time too. Polishing pad, speed on 5 and work slowly for several passes. Less is more once the pad is primed.

Used DP's Super Swirl Eliminator, followed by FFP and topped with EX w/carnauba on this black Lexus.

Same combo on this Audi S4.

Same on this Yukon except I used DP Sealant.

Great work Scott.

Just went into the garage and worked with it. Reminds me of Menzerna FPII, but with more lubricating oils and perhaps less abrasives. Quite nice stuff. I can't tell when it is ready to be buffed off because it works it for so long.

Not sure if the surface will be "Zaino-ready" afterwards, so I'll probably do an alcohol wipedown.

Yup, I'm using it now as I type. Like Scott said, it take looong time to break down" I'm using a rotary and yet it take loong time to break down. But at the end its super wet looking. It ez to come off too, it doesn't leave much dust around. Heck, it's very close to OP :xyxthumbs .

Exactly! I used OP followed by FFP on the Rolls I do and FFP basically kept the look of Optimum but added more depth. Same insane gloss. Almost seems to be a glaze version of OP. I followed with Acrylic Jett and was thrilled with how well it turned out. I should have pics up in a day or two. ;)

Hey Scott, awesome details as usual, but hey, whats your take on the Sealant from DP ?

How does it compare to WG ?

I had it on my truck for a week before i stripped it, and i was very pleased with the look, the slickness, and the ease of use !

Maybe that Yukon is picking up more reflections, but i see a big difference between the first 2 and the Yukon.

The look of DP's Sealant is closer to EX-P or Z2 than to the more carnauba look of WG. I agree it is easy to use and has pretty good slickness and gloss. BTW, the spray sealant is also very nice.

Thanks for the 411.

The Spray stuff held up for 8 weeks as a rain-X type product on my windshield before i applyed some more. Doesnt get any easier than the DP products...
