Door Sill Cleaning

Does anyone know how to get rid of the dark lines on the vinyl door sill edges that appear to come when someone scrapes the edge of the sole of the shoe over the viny door sill edges? The car I've got has a light tan interior and there are some pretty dark brown or black stripes over the door sill edge that I can't get rid of with soap and water or alcohol. Anyone know how to get rid of them.

Armor All cleaning wipes/orange cleaning wipes work for me, I have light gray door sills.

a Mr. Clean Magic Eraser and Woolite 1:6 is what I use when I do cars.

I usually use "Stoner Tarminator" to remove shoe scuffs, or "Stoner XENIT cleaner and remover"
