Does your Jelly Blade leave rubber scuffs?

I'm unsure if I'm doing something wrong, but I purchased the CA Jelly Blade a few months ago. I've used it several times -- on 3 cars now. Sometimes mine leaves rubber scuffs on the paint. I'm not applying pressure -- just gliding across the top. I mainly use it for the hood, roof, and glass. I'm thinking maybe there's not enouch water -- since I'm also using the "waterfall" hose method? I was thinking of returning the product, but I do not have the original package. I kept the instructions, and it only states a 30 day warranty through the manufacturer (lame). Any thoughts are appreciated. I stll have the receipt -- purchased from Target (90 day return policy).

return it, and stay with a dedicated waffle weave or microfiber drying towel. if you do the flood/waterfall technique with just the hose, there won't be that much water to dry off the finish...

agree with BigAl3. Take it back. The only thing I use it for now is the windows on my daily driver which sits outside. Always covered in dew from the humidity here in Austin, it makes short work of the water. It will never touch paint again.

Yeah, I used to use it and if I go too fast the handle would of the blade would scuff. 100% of the time I'm able to buff it off with a QD.

I barely use the blade and use a WW.

I don't like it either. The worst is when it grips the surface, slips out your hand, and the handle slams into the paint.

Mine collects dust. I'd rather use an Absorber before a blade, but I still prefer to use a WW mf towel over everything else.

Thanks. I have been using the absorber for years. I may try returning the Jelly Blade. Target is pretty picky -- since I do not have the original bubble wrap. Maybe I'm using it too fast..

Update. I returned it to Target this morning. No package. No UPC. Just the blade and receipt (date within 90 days). They promptly credited my card back. No questions asked. I was happy. I would have even been happy exchanging for other car care supplies.

Thanks again for your help.
