Does this sound right for my first detail?

2008 Civic Si 4dr Nighthawk Black Pearl, never been waxed and only washed maybe 12 times by a drive-thru wash. Terrible swirls and TONs of marring.

1. Clean wheels and tires with Adam's APC on tires and Adam's green wheel cleaner. Dress with Adam's VRT and brush wheel wells and apply Adam's invisible undercarriage spray.

2. Wash with two buckets with grit guard in soap bucket using Meguiars NXT wash with some ONR mixed in using MF mitts. (no foam gun yet)

3. Clay the whole car including glass with Meguiars clay and QD.

4. Wash again and dry with MFs -necessary?

5. Adam's SHR with an orange pad on the PC.

6. Adam's FMP with a green pad (Uber green same as LC white)

7. Adam's MSW with a black pad.

Am I missing anything?

Being a Honda can I skip the SHR and orange pad perhaps?

Save dressing until the end or at least until after the wash. VRT is water based and it will wash away easily. I generally do my undercarrige spray after the wash, but before polishing.

Debatable. Generally I find its a good idea if the decontamination pulled up a lot of stuff. If the clay was not too dirty and you didn't get a ton of grit you COULD skip it. I personally always wash after clay, but thats just my preference.

If the swirling is really bad you'll want to start with the SHR + Orange pad... its not really all that aggressive of a combo and FMP certainly won't have enough bite to get really bad swirls out.
