Does Poorboy's TR Protect as well as Restore?

I was wondering if Trim Restore is more of a restorer or a protector because i was comparing it to 303 Aerospace Protectant. I know that 303 is marketed more as a protectant, but which one is the better product generally?

Protectant I'd guess, it seems to last longer than most water-based products, as it is solvent-based. I've seen durability in the range of months, compared to the days or weeks of most water-based dressings. I've never used 303, so I couldn't tell ya how long it lasts. TR destroys Natural Look for exterior durability, can't say much more than that as far as comparisons go.

I haven't yet sampled 303 , but I can tell you as a regular TR user that it protects VERY well.

Months even on outer trim.

However it does work best on grained trim. It doesn't seem to absorb into rubber seals or flat trim as well as some others.

For grained trim , though , you'd be hard pressed to beat it.

As per your original question : it does both pretty well.
