does opti-seal bead or sheet

ive taken my truck through the touchless car wash 2 times since my application of opti-seal and each time the water sheeted after, so is opti-seal supposed to sheet the water or am i going to a car wash with such harsh chemicals that it stripped it off after one wash:errf:
 
It does bead, however the chemicals the car wash uses for the final rinse may cause sheeting action. Grab a bottle of distilled water and see if it beads.
 
OCW beads, OS will bead untill enough surface tension is created then it will sheet as the volume of water increases. The previous statement about automatics is correct as well though. All automatics use a rinse aid that helps the blowers remove more water.
