Does anyone use the white foam pad that comes with a PC?

I have some orange, white and black LC foam pads. I like to have one pad for each product to reduce wastage and save time. I don't have enough white polishing pads.



Would it be okay to use the original white PC pad as a polishing pad for products like Poorboys PP/PWC/SSR1 or AIO?
 
If you use mf bonnets, the white PC pad is good for mounting them.



It should always be against the paint when in motion, though.

I use the original white PC with MF bonnets too. It works pretty well. That said...



Some people just use a standard MF buffing towel placed under a polishing pad to achieve the same results. I haven't tried that yet, but it seems simpler and faster.



In general, I would NOT use the original white pad to polish your car. Execept for the potential use with MF bonnets, I'd consider it a tosser if I were you.

Yep like all above said. I use it for me MF bonnet. Dont try to polish your car with that. Its too harsh.
 
I cut the backing plate off the white pad then I sliced the pad in half ( like u would a bagel) and use it to apply tire dressing.
