Does anyone make a similar product to Zaino ClearSeal?

The price for Zaino CS is expensive for an application I have been thinking about! I know it goes on thin and you can supposedly do 12 cars per bottle, but it never works out that way for me.



Are there any other products out there that have the ease of use, same durability, but for less $$$? I want to put it on an aluminum patio rail at my beach house. I just can't justify the cost of ClearSeal for this application.



I'd like to find a similar product, with good durabilty, that will keep my patio rail from oxidizing so quickly. ClearSeal should be easy to put on and not get all greasy like a thin coat of Furniture oil would be. I'd just like to find something cheaper.

Add another vote for Optiseal. If you like more of an oily wax type look, UPGP is another candidate, but I think UPGP has too much water affinity. Optiseal is like liquid glass lookswise.
 
Oh ok, maybe the salt in the water isn't so great for the powdercoat. I bet most sealants would work well for what you're trying to do provided you apply/re-apply it 3-4 times a year. How often do you plan on applying the LSP?
 
About 3 times per year! I am right on the beach and had a wrought iron patio railing. The sea air ate that up no matter what I sealed it with. Frustrated, I began coating it with axle grease twice a year. This all but stopped the rust, but what a mess!



Replaced it with powder coated aluminum but it is now oxidizing...argh! I want to seal it but not have a mess so I can lean up against it, etc.
